Your challenge, should you choose to accept
it, is to fill in the gaps, add the photographs, the dates, the
corrections. Even ... dare we say it ... the spice and the stories that
turn history into living history!
Enjoy what's here, and enjoy
contributing!

How
to Find Your Way Around
There are three main
sections to this site:
- Database
of the descendants of Archibald and Elizabeth Blackwood,
- Generally-accessible
material, and
- M.
Gwen Blackwood's 1984 family history book, on which this site is based.
Click on the links in the
left column or on the top navigation bar to go to the section that
interests you.
The database is the
engine-room. It contains details of the 700+ descendants — significant
dates, notes and photographs, each linked and cross-linked. It opens in
a separate page, and will leave the site page open behind so you can
return to other sections whenever you want.
I've added the database
material, plus more, to other site pages to make it accessible in a
different way, and easier to view.
You can read Gwen's book
online or download it to your own computer for reading or printing.
